Chicago Union Station

Earlier this summer I spent some time photographing the Great Hall in Chicago’s Union Station. This is really one of the hidden gems of the city. Often uncrowned today as most visitors are in a rush to catch their Metra or enjoying a drink at the bar it’s easy to picture this grand hall a century ago filled with passengers waiting to board their train. The style and architecture is perfectly Chicago. This is one of my favorite spots in the city
