Skyscraper Reflection

I have been making myself photograph the same area of Chicago lately. The same section of the city and the same streets week after week. I initially started doing this because I was fascinated by this small section of the Loop but I continued to keep visiting this area because I found that photographing the same scenery time after time forced me to start searching for a way to see the environment in a new way. To look at the same streets and buildings from continually new perspectives. Looking back over my shots I’m noticing that my best photos didn’t even start to imerge until after I had made the visit several times. To get the best shots sometimes you have to shoot the same place or thing hundreds of ┬átimes. The photo is one from the area, a reflection of a Chicago skyscraper in a shattered mirror on the sidewalk
